"Psalm One is...criminally slept on."
        - Some random guy on Twitter

Hailing from the Midwest region's rising hotbed of talent, Psalm One has been named one of the next to blow up by the: Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun Times, The Onion and URB Magazine's (then) Next 100. She's a Chicago Southside native who's been developing her craft for over a decade. But, Psalm One isn't trying to be your favorite female rapper.

She's just trying to be your favorite. And she's bringing more than candy to the table. She's artistically witty, sonically soulful and lyrically unstoppable.

Still haven't heard of her?

Psalm has shared the stage and garnered respect all over the world, touring with some of the best in the business including: 50 Cent, Slick Rick, Atmosphere, MF Doom, De La Soul, A-Trak, Camp Lo, Murs, Jean Grae, Royce tha 5'9, Diverse, Goapele, Blueprint, Brother Ali, Masta Ace, Prince Paul, Casual of Heiroglyphics, Del tha Funkee Homosapien, Gym Class Heroes, Bahamadia, Brother Ali, ESG, Flosstradamus, People Under the Stairs, Little Brother and many, many more.

Or maybe you know her from the Chicago Reader piece about her career as a Chemist. Yeah... She's got a Chemistry degree. While finishing her studies at the University of Illinois, Psalm fittingly self-released her debut album "Bio:Chemistry" in 2002, then followed up by signing a multi-album deal with the Goliath of Indie Hip Hop, Rhymesayer's Entertainment.

Her 2006 release of "The Death of Frequent Flyer" was Critically Acclaimed.

After a whirlwind tour schedule, several mixtape appearances and a creative stint in California's Bay Area, Psalm's back with new projects.

Her upcoming offering, the "Flat Iron Diaries" EP will reacquaint you with your favorite while whetting your palette for her next Rhymesayers Entertainment LP.
